Most games are suitable for one age. This one fits three stages at once, because the cards gradually become more difficult:
- Around age 3, your child plays with the loose pieces: stacking them, sorting them by color, feeling how a block drops into its groove.
- Around age 4 or 5, the cards come into play. Look, find the right piece, and copy the shape.
- Around age 6 or 7, filling the entire board becomes the challenge. Now planning ahead is needed, because one piece in the wrong place blocks the rest.

How it works
The board has grooves. Small pegs underneath each piece fit into them, so a design stays in place, even when the board is standing upright on its stand. Your child chooses a card, gathers the matching pieces, and recreates the shape. It works just as well without a card: simply build whatever they come up with.
